Who is Fisher Spreader Sales?
At Fisher Spreader Sales we take pride in being a third
generation distributor of New Leader limestone and fertilizer spreaders. We
have been a New Leader dealer since 1963 and have been in business since 1945.

Biographical Information
My grandfather, Ralph Fisher, started Fisher Welding in 1945 as a small town welding shop, soon after my dad, Gene Fisher, and my uncle, William Fisher returned from the war and joined him in providing services such as welding, providing steam for local oil drilling companies, portable welding and wench trucks. In 1963 Fisher Spreader Sales was born when a local businessman sold the dealership. Ralph, Gene and William then formed a partnership that lasted until Ralph passed away in 1981.
I worked in the shop from the time I was tall enough to see over the bench until 1980 at that time I became employed as a union sheet metal worker in Decatur until 1984, at that time I returned to the shop to help continue the family business.
My father passed away in 1996 leaving me his half of the business, William and I continued to be partners until he retired June 1st 2000.
My wife, Dixie, joined me at that time and has quickly learned the parts inventory.
Dixie and I want to continue to provide you with the service you have been accustom to for 39 years.
